Q&A

What was the inspiration for this project?

“My inspiration for this project was finding different ways to “WOW” my clients. Before taking this course I was always so old fashion with announcements and RSVP cards. This project helped me bring my ideas to life. With today’s technologies it makes to so much funner to plan a wedding and not to forget easier! One thing I got out of doing this project is not only you are helping the couple by showing them ideas, but if they like what you have done they can use it as part of their wedding. I would love to do something like this for my wedding and tell EVERYONE my story.”

What did you find to be the most challenging?

“The most challenging part was really just figuring out how to put it all together so it flowed well. When presenting you don’t want topics all over the place, you want them to flow together kind of like a book. I felt like after I took the time to write everything out first and then put it together, it was much easier!”

What was your favorite part?

“My favorite part of it all was telling the story with pictures, music, and cute little ideas. When people go onto that page I want them to in be “AWH” I don’t want them to rush and find the place to RSVP and be done with it, but t enjoy it just like the couple did.”

What was the biggest take-away you learned?

“What I experienced is you will never have enough to present if you don’t know your couple well enough. Yes this was a bit easier because we get to plan it all but what happens when you do have a client who wants stuff a certain way. Get to know you clients and what they like or what they want the world to see. My biggest take away was to just enjoy and have fun while doing it, teach yourself something new! Before this project I had never been on WIX and now I know I will use it to benefit me and future Brides in so many ways! I sent this project to all of my family members because i was so excited! Enjoy learning!”

What advice do you have for anyone planning an event?

“My advice would be to venture out with new technology, like I said I would never use WIX and I definitely plan of using it when I plan weddings now!”
