What did you find to be the most challenging?
“The most challenging [part] was communicating my vision with the design elements that are vital in visually detailing the design and not losing focus on the desired theme and inspiration that I was trying to achieve for the client. The six areas of the Event Experience that Mr. Preston Bailey teaches [are] so valuable, and challenging.”
What was your favorite part?
“The Enchanted Evening! I really enjoyed the different effects that you can create when designing the Atmosphere. There you can create an element of surprise.
I wanted to display the joy and excitement that happens if you can create the right Atmosphere.”
What was the biggest take-away you learned?
“You must work at making your vision the vision of the clients. It’s the clients dreams that you want to bring to the event. The Event Designer must show the client that you have realized their desires and you can create what will make her happy. The most important to remember in the words of Mr. Preston Bailey, ‘Your goal is that you will create this magical event that the guest will never forget!’ I believe that is my biggest take-away that I learned.”
